Full living room refurbishment and redecoration in Full living room refurbishment and redecoration in High Wych - inc. new floor, skirting & coving.

The first job in this room was a full strip down - everything was being removed and replaced - old flooring taken up, old skirting removed and old coving taken down. After stripping off the old textured wallpaper from both the walls and ceiling, both where in need of quite a lot of repair and attention, with multiple stages of sanding and filling to get them ready for painting. After fitting new coving all around, the ceiling was then finished in 2 coats of Tikkurila Anti Reflex ceiling emulsion with the walls finished in 2 coats of Dulux Easycare ‘Just Walnut’. I then fitted the new vinyl click floor and flowed this through into the hall, before fitting new skirting all round. Along with the rest of the woodwork and fireplace, this was finished in Johnstones Trade Aqua Guard White Satin. To complete the transformation, I finished off the room with the feature wallpaper.
